I've heard fourteen times in the last ten hours that I've lost my mind.  Oddly, it doesn't bother me as much as probably it should since I knew that leaving R&D was pretty insane as it was.  But the prospect of working on my own ideas (which aren't nearly as grand as those I was previously working on but also a bit less discomfiting) feels right to me and doing it on the Island of Apples seems just as right.  Hurricane or no.  So tomorrow I plan on ignoring the voices of warning and going through with my move.  This time Sunday I should be happily settled in my new place.

Game change

It seems that experiment 14 was a success, or at least I haven't had any reports of spontanious combustion.

I don't know what it is about snow but it always makes me hyper.  Which is driving Parry batty because I keep bouncing which is distracting her.  But it's so white and fluffy and I want to go sledding and go outside and play in it like a little girl.  But we have too much studying to do at the moment to take the time out to play like that.

Experiment 14 is moving along.  I should have working models for both Derry and Haliegh before hols which makes me happy.  It only took me the entire term to figure them out, which is kind of frustrating.

I hate snow.  Okay, maybe I don't hate it per se.  I just hate the closed in feeling I get when the weather gets like this.  It's like the world gets smaller and it's small enough in my opinion.  Though it has given me a chance to work on Experiment #14.  I think that I'm getting close to getting it right.  I'm taking everything in the most minute steps possible to prevent stupid mistakes from happening.  So far, so good.  I'm hoping that I can get the finished project to Derry by the end of next week.

Working on calculations for the revised Experiment 14 using Derry's suggestions and things seem promising unless something else ends up malfunctioning.  And I think I know what my next project will be once I get this one figured out.  Though I may need to ask to borrow an empty classroom to work on it.

Experiment #14:  Seemed to fix the previous issues with the display; however, changes made caused it to overheat.  Very small fire.  No injuries to report besides my Runes homework and hopefully I can borrow someone's in the morning.
